Funeral arrangements for the late Mrs. Marie Saah


The funeral is scheduled for February 4th, 2006 and details will be announced later.

Other Information:

General Contribution per member/individual is $100.00 as prescribed by our constitution and by-laws when a member dies.

2. Deputy Paramount Chief Henry H. Hali of Teaneck, New Jersey will be the Chief Coordinator for all the collections. He will also collect from all of our people in the New Jersey Chapter. All chapters, communities, and individuals wishing to join us in our usual community contribution exercise should send there contributions to him with names and amount paid for accountability.

3. Mr. Gabriel Taylor, Delaware-Pennsylvania Chapter of Diompillor will collect in his communities and forward the amount to Mr. Hali.

4. Mr. Saa Ntow General Secretary and Vice President Fatima Johnny should work with the Vice Chairman of the New England Chapter of Diompillor to conduct the collection in their area. We understand that Chairman Anthony Tamba is in Liberia.

6. Mr. James Fayiah Williams is designated to conduct the collection in the Washington DC-Metro Area. We are asking for a volunteer to please work with Mr. Williams in performing this task. If you want to volunteer, just call me and I will inform Mr. Williams. His telephone will be verified and sent out shortly.

We are making arrangements in other states for contact persons and as soon we are successful, you will be informed of those individuals.

Again, let us work together and support our brother Milton Saah as we is currently walking through this difficult path.




 

Varnie Kawah was the son of Sarah Mayah and nephew to Joseph Mayah dies at age 26

It is with deep sadness and regrets that we announce the sudden and untimely passing of young Varnie Kawah, 26 years old. He was an employee of the United Nations in Monrovia, Liberia. Varnie Kawah was the son of Sarah Mayah and nephew to Joseph Mayah, Mariam Josiah, Teresa Mayah Konneh, Sylvester Mayah and a relative to Daniel Solee and the rest of the Foya Kama family. He was a smart, brilliant and resourceful young man of impeccable integrity. He died on Sunday, January 15, 2006. Funeral arrangements are being planned in Monrovia and burial is expected by Saturday, January 28, 2006.

Meanwhile, there will be a family meeting at my house at 16047 Dorset Road, Laurel, Maryland 20707 on Saturday, January 21, 2006 at 4:00 PM to discuss the participation of those of us in the Diaspora in the funeral. The meeting will be followed by a teleconference at 6:45 PM EST for those family members and friends living in other states that might not be able to physically participate in the meeting. The Kissi Community morns again: Former First Lady Mrs. Marie Saah dies


The death is announced of Mrs. Marie Yekeh-Saah: former First lady of DIOMPILLOR AMERICA, Inc. This sad event occurred in the early hours of Monday of the morning, on Monday January 16, 2006 at 12:05 Am with her loving husband, Mr. Milton Saah, children, mother, and other family members by her bed side. Mrs. Saah has been sick for the past several years but she had strong faith in the Lord that kept her up to this morning. We have informed you on several times to remember her in your prayers.

She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, Milton, four children, step children, mother, several brothers and sisters, and a host of other relatives here in America, Liberia, and around the world. Marie's death is a complete blow to her family and to us as a community.

On behalf of the Board of Advisers, the Executive Leadership, our entire membership of Diompillor America, Inc. and the Kissi Community-USA, I write in my capacity as President of Diompillor to express our profound condolences to the Saah Family and the Yekeh Family for the death of Mrs. Marie Yekeh-Saah. May her soul rest peacefully in the Hands of Our God.

The funeral arrangements will be announced later by the family and we'll surely pass the information over to you as it becomes available. Meanwhile, please pass on the info to others in your communities that may not have the Internet service.
