It is with deep sadness and regrets that we announce the sudden and untimely passing of young Varnie Kawah, 26 years old. He was an employee of the United Nations in Monrovia, Liberia. Varnie Kawah was the son of Sarah Mayah and nephew to Joseph Mayah, Mariam Josiah, Teresa Mayah Konneh, Sylvester Mayah and a relative to Daniel Solee and the rest of the Foya Kama family. He was a smart, brilliant and resourceful young man of impeccable integrity. He died on Sunday, January 15, 2006. Funeral arrangements are being planned in Monrovia and burial is expected by Saturday, January 28, 2006.
